Lode Runner-i

Lode Runner-i combines the classic game play of the award winning Apple II original Lode Runner with graphics and features engineered for today's advanced iPhone and iPod touch platforms.

The game's frantic action takes place in maze-like, static levels, where a single player dodges enemies while running and climbing to reach and claim stacks of gold. Blast blocks to access lower platforms or trap pursuing enemies.

Wind your way through ever-increasing levels of complexity for a superior challenge or play any one of the 150 levels at any time.

Lode Runner's rich history begins in Seattle in 1982, when Douglas E. Smith created a game prototype, which he called Kong. This one of the very first games to be released with a level editor.
